Current Project: Wise Women Don't Whisper. Anonymous letters from experienced academics to their younger female selves/colleagues who are just a few years behind them on the research career pathway.  We need your help! Please complete the 100% anonymous letter template here, and spread the word about this important work to encourage relevant colleagues to contribute. We'll be publishing the letters in batches, and analysing the content to draw out shared advise, challenges, and ways of overcoming common obstacles.

Current Project: Climbing Without a Ladder Exploring perceived barriers to success for ECR, and mid-career researchers. In this anonymous survey we want to hear from you if you are a female Early Career Researcher (ECR), or in your mid career. We want to understand your every day experiences if you're ambitious, but feel that something is holding you back, whether that's within, or outside of your control. or maybe you were ambitious, but are feeling stuck, held back? We want to hear from you too!

Once the key themes emerge from the ECRs/mid-career barriers survey and the Wise Women Don't Whisper letters we'll delve deeper into solutions to these and other topics via: The secret inner lives of senior female academics; what thoughts and mindsets helped, or hindered them. We'll be running a follow on anonymous online survey, and from that produce more guidance for Early and Mid career academics, and real life case studies.  We'll also use the data to prioritise what we're writing about on the blog, and developing resources to be housed on the free RiF Inner Circle page.
